Conclusion: Advantages of the PEN E-PL9 are that the camera is faster, the faster and more accurate auto focus and the larger selection of lenses. We also like the built-in flash, the optical image stabilizer and that the display has a higher resolution. A nice touch is the rather comfortable touch screen, the superior video recording and that the battery has more stamina. Another advantage over the Alpha A7R: the lower weight than the Alpha A7R and the more compact size.
