Conclusion: Advantages of the K-3 II are built-in automatic sensor cleaning, the higher resolution and that the camera is faster. Additional pros for the Pentax are the faster and more accurate auto focus, the larger sensitivity and the better viewfinder. We also like the optical image stabilizer, that the display has a higher resolution and the connector for an external microphone. Another advantage over the EOS 4000D: that the battery has more stamina, the support for USB 3.0. HArdly a luxury, given today’s image size and the requirements of 4K video and the built-in GPS.
