Canon EOS 6D Detailed Review

In additional EOS 6D was introduced by Canon in September 2012. It belongs to the Professional DSLRs category.

The EOS 6D’s sensitivity is from 100 ISO and 25600 ISO.

Also, Canon’s sensitivity can be boosted to 102400. Therefore, ISO boosting will lead to growth noise.

The EOS 6D supports all general exposure modes.

The Canon allows spot exposure for the difficult occasion.

The EOS 6D’s auto focus processor uses 11 AF points (or sensors). A basic rule of thumb says that the more AF points you have, the better. More AF points mean a better chance to have a point at the location of interest in a scene, a big plus in challenging situations (e.g. in sports).

Manual focus is also possible with the Canon, a plus in tricky situations or for some creative freedom.

The EOS 6D doesn’t feature a built-in flash. That is not unsusual in this camera category.

A flash or a trigger for remote flashes can be attached to the Canon’s hotshoe.

The EOS 6D features a monitor with a diagonal of 81.00mm (3.2 in.) and a resolution of c. 1.04 megapixel. That’s about average.

Unfortunately, the EOS 6D’s monitor is not articulated. That can make it tricky to frame your subject in some situations, e.g. when taking selfies.

The EOS 6D does not feature a touch screen.
