Conclusion: Advantages of the PowerShot G5 X are that the camera is faster, the faster and more accurate auto focus and the optical image stabilizer. A nice touch is the articulated display, the rather comfortable touch screen and the lower weight than the RX1. Another advantage over the RX1: the more compact size and the built-in wifi that permits remote shooting and image transfer without the need for a cable connection.
